Scotts Professional has an extensive network of Territory Managers throughout North America. These field experts are available to answer questions from nursery and greenhouse growers, from finding solutions to common problems to recommending the products that are right for a particular crop.
A nineteen-year veteran of Scotts Professional, Don Furterer of Loveland, Ohio, serves as Territory Manager for a region that encompasses West Virginia, Kentucky, Indiana and Ohio. Don’s educational background includes an AAS degree in ornamental horticulture from Ferris State University and a bachelor of science degree in landscape horticulture from Michigan State University. “I like to work with growers as an extra set of eyes to help them diagnose any cultural problems that they may be having,” Don said. “I always ask a lot of questions about their practices, and try to make suggestions for growing the best plant in the shortest amount of time.”
Sharon Gravitt-Warschauer is relatively new to Scotts Professional, having joined the team in 2009. A resident of Henryville, Pennsylvania, Sharon’s territory includes the states of Pennsylvania and New Jersey, and most recently, New York. A graduate of Purdue University, she holds a Bachelor of Science degree in agriculture with a dual major in horticulture and agronomy. “I began my career as a grower, so I have a unique insight into the challenges growers face each day,” Sharon said. “I consult with nursery and greenhouse growers in my region and help them find solutions to the various challenges that make their lives easier and their businesses more profitable. I am privileged to have Scott’s products as my tools to achieve these goals.”
